My new logo was created and put up onto my blog site and I just wanted to quickly share the message I think it tells...
We are in a time where feelings are sensitive, our community is being killed and dehumanized by those who still in 2020 think less of us, and now with the ever growing pandemic, life is hard right now because loved ones are getting sick, in danger of being exposed or have sadly passed away. This is small in comparison to what's going on in our lives but I really wanted my new logo to represent a sense of tranquility and unity.
A fist up in relief that we're still alive as the covid-19 cases positivity rate rises daily. A fist up for those whose lives have been lost to the virus. A fist up to push against the stress of not knowing what's going to happen in the next few months. A fist up against police brutality. A fist up for still being able to write and share with you what's on my mind and what I believe people should know.
I hope everyone who reads my blog can take something positive away from each post I write. The issues I cover doesn't necessarily impact my life but it may be a reality to someone else and I write with awareness of that fact. I want to raise a fist to all of us who are living everyday or at least trying to despite these hard times. It will get better, I really believe that and I hope we can raise a fist together.
